You may be eligible for reimbursement under the Affordable Care Act guidelines for Women’s Preventive Services. At the time of the lactation or nutrition service you will be provided with paperwork to submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement. Payment accepted by cash, credit or Zelle at time of service.

I am in network with Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Cigna and United Healthcare insurance. Please note, I am not able to accept Medicaid unless for ages 0-3 years old who are a part of the Early Intervention Program in the State of Illinois.

To avoid a cancellation fee, must provide notice of appointment cancellation AT LEAST 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment time. If not cancelled within this time period, the credit card provided will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.

Initial visit lasts about 2 hours and includes:
a detailed medical history as it pertains to lactation.
weighing baby before and after feeding to determine milk transfer.
observing a breastfeeding/chestfeeding and/or pumping session.
breastfeeding/chestfeeding education and management.
a written plan to help you meet your breastfeeding/chestfeeding goals.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
A Healthy Start To Breastfeeding
A 2.5 hour prenatal breastfeeding class to help you build confidence in your breastfeeding journey. We will go over breast anatomy, nipple evaluation, positioning and latch-on, evaluating a feeding, sore nipples, engorgement, nipple confusion and much more.
Back to Work Class or Consult
A 1 hour class that teaches you how to maintain your milk supply while you are away from your baby, including how to select a breast pump, proper flange fit, and breastmilk storage.
Individual appointments to address specific concerns as you prepare to go back to work, assist with proper use of breast pump and observe a pump session for flange fit are also available upon request.
Prenatal/Postnatal Nutrition Consult
I want to help you achieve your individual nutrition and weight goals by incorporating a healthy lifestyle that includes diet and exercise before, during and after baby arrives as well when starting to wean your baby from breastfeeding. Postpartum and Newborn Care
Congratulations on your new bundle of joy. In this visit we will discuss your goals as you begin your journey with your newborn baby. We will go over newborn behavior, breastfeeding or bottle feeding, diapering, bathing and skin care, infant massage, safety, safe sleep, ways to reduce sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), cord care, circumcision care, developmental milestones, and any additional questions or concerns you may have that will empower you to parent your newborn. All those involved in caring for your newborn are welcome to attend.
